Onischuk 2nd Floor I believe the 1 ½ Story Bungalow is the most difficult home style to deal with when doing an addition-renovation project. This house in Arlington Heights had the added disadvantage of a pre-existing second floor addition. With a growing family, there was a need for another bedroom. The challenge was to add a Master Bedroom/ Bathroom Suite to the second floor, try to blend with the attractive "Arts & Crafts" style of the original Bungalow, and make some sense of the original second floor addition — all at the same time. I think the new classic dormer addition that ties into the existing addition did just that! |
